We've been working with ShoutOK from the beginning. We've been in contact with them numerous times and offered ideas, suggestions, pleas, and complaints. But it doesn't appear that we are going to get anything done this way.
I like what ShoutOK has. I like the Forum/Blog/UserPage/Chat Format that ShoutOK offers, but the code is unreliable, the chat is unmoderated, the forums are busted all up. The concept is there, but the implementation isn't.
So, the Loudmouths are venturing out on their own. We are going to attempt to establish our own website that will initially serve Forums, Blogs, Chat, and News feeds. We are still trying to figure out about whether to host personal user pages or if we should try to work with another site like myspace or something.
We will need help if anyone out there is familiar with web development and tech such as Java, ASP, PHP, CSS, IRC, BB Systems, etc. This is strictly a volunteer deal.
On our forums, I've made a post detailing my ideas for the site. Feel free to drop by and offer your feedback on the concept.

Kudos to Jonathon, our fearless leader, and to all who have helped him in this move. I look forward to moving to our new home.
argyle58I would like to point out, to anyone who has not read it, that the constitution for the new site excludes no one from open exchange of ideas, only those who don't know how to behave in polite society.
That's what America is supposed to be about. Thanks again, folks
